Intent
At Our Little Angelz Nursery, we create a unique learning environment where each child can thrive and develop a love for learning. We combine modern, creative Early Years education with traditional British values like kindness, respect, and good manners. Drawing from approaches such as The Curiosity Approach, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia, we emphasize emotional security, self-confidence, and strong interpersonal relationships.
Our focus is on nurturing each child’s individual talents and fostering self-belief. We encourage children to explore new ideas, take pride in their efforts, and learn from their experiences. Our well-trained staff are skilled in recognizing teachable moments, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
As a family-run nursery with four locations, we take a personal, child-centered approach to meet the specific needs of children and families in Bradford and Birmingham.

Implementation
We offer an exciting nursery curriculum that encourages curiosity and experimentation, focusing on learning through play based on children's interests. Messy and sensory play is central, emphasizing process over product to help children build confidence and skills without pressure.
Strong, trusting relationships with key workers ensure children feel secure. Key workers are trained to understand each child’s development and seize teachable moments during free play. We work closely with parents to track progress via the Famly app, following the EYFS curriculum to support children’s growth in all areas of learning, including literacy and math.
We prioritize natural, open-ended resources, minimizing plastic to create a rich, exploratory environment for children.

Children at all levels are stimulated and keen to learn, they leave nursery, school ready and with a hunger for learning and confidence in themselves and their abilities. They see the wonder and awe in the world around them and develop their own interests and ways of learning while at nursery, we encourage children to develop the characteristics of effective learning and support all child to ask questions, explore the world around them and develop critical thinking skills which set them in good stead for challenges that lie ahead at school/
Children form meaningful and lasting relationships with other children and their teachers while at nursery this supports their ability to self-regulate and communicate their needs and ideas both to adults and peers.
Our curriculum fosters a respect for other people from all walks of life, animals and the environment. We have strong relationships with all local schools, we aim to support parents in the school application process helping them to choose a school that will be the best fit for each individual child.
